My New Year's resolution is to take one photo every day for the entire year....this my blog to track all of the progress.

The Covered Bridge - Gray's River, WA
The first photo is the edited version, the second is SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera)

Day 22

This is the little bridge on the walking trail that goes around our new property. This is going to be so much fun to play on and jump in the mud and the ick when the kids are a bit older :)

Day 20

Audrey is going wild in this photo -- taking just a moment to giggle and breathe and then quickly resume her crazy jumping on the chair.

Day 19

This is one of those "oh shoot, I need a photo today" type of shots. So here you go, leaves lit by an outdoor lamp outside the front door at work (no flash). It was pretty dark outside already when this was taken at about 5:15 at night.

Day 18

The babies have finally "graduated" from drinking their bottles in their Boppies and are now drinking them in their Land of Nod chairs. I'm so glad we bought two, they love them!

Day 17

Ryan LOVES to read -- here he is settling down with a book before bedtime.

Day 16

I spent all day at "Shoot Camp" where a local photographer took about 15 of us around teaching us how to use our cameras for a few hours. After the shoot was over we went into a classroom and learned a little bit about editing. Shoot Camp was a blast and I learned so much!

Day 15

Counting the minutes -- is it 5:00 yet?

Day 12

I live in Washington, it's winter, it rains...here is the view from my office at work. Sad, eh?

Day 11

The bad part about living in Washington is that it's dark before dinner -- this limits outdoor shooting after the babies go to bed. I'd love to be able to post some photos of something other than my adorable kids so tonight I will post photos of some elephants.

These actually have special meaning to me as they were given to me after the passing of two loved family members. The larger one was my Grandma's and the smaller one was my Aunt Rhea's -- they are a perfect set and I love my elephants :)

Day 10

The best way to eat a PBJ is to tear it apart -- eat the jelly/bread side first and then the peanut butter side.

(I totally cheated and this is a photo from yesterday. I'm not going to beat myself up for missing a day -- I'm sick, Greg is sick, the babies are sick and I'm full of good excuses. Back to the grind tomorrow!)

Day 9

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a hit around here. The more jelly on your face the better the meal.

Day 8

This is what happens when you turn on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Mikey is usually reserved for bedtime but when the babies are sick and crabby they can do whatever is safe and keeps them from fussing all day.

(Yes, we are still wearing our Christmas PJs. They fit so they get worn!)

Day 7

This is why Miss Audrey will never stay alone at Uncle's house -- she likes to hold the breathing tube and suck in the smoke just a bit too much and she could really get into trouble with this skill later in life ;) Notice her right hand pushing me away saying "Don't worry Mom, I've got this".

Day 6

Off to the doctor! Greg and I took the day off since we hardly slept last night and we took the babies to see Dr. Anderson. She confirmed they have some gunk in their lungs again so our instinct was right with the nebulizer last night, they are back on it again a minimum of two times per day.

This photo is of Ryan watching his movie in the car on the way to the doctor's office. Our poor little man has another double ear infection and we've been directed to an ENT for possible tubes.

Day 5

The nebulizer is back -- we suspected the babies have RSV or some sort of lung issue again so we've taken out the nebulizer and given them a treatment to clear their lungs with the hopes of a good night's sleep.

The babies slept great, Greg and I didn't sleep good at all. They have given us their cold and we cannot breathe. YUCK.

Day 4

Christmas is over but since we didn't put the tree up until the 23rd it is still up in the living room. I think it will come down tomorrow. I'm very proud of the babies who have learned "one finger touch" quickly and didn't knock the tree down even once!

Day 3

We moved the glider from the nusery upstairs to the living room downstairs. This is supposed to be my chair but the cats seem to have taken it over. Here is Loki lounging in the best seat in the house.

Day 2

How does this thing work again? Make it play music!

Day 1

Audrey is starting 2010 off right -- she's going to make regular teeth brushing part of her New Year resolution.
